The back of your eye consistently makes a reasonable liquid called fluid silliness. As this liquid is made, it fills the front part of your eye. Then, it leaves your eye through channels in your cornea and iris. If these channels are blocked or incompletely impeded, the natural pressure in your eye, which is known as the intraocular pressure (IOP), may rise. As your IOP increases, your optic nerve may become damaged. As harm to your nerve advances, you may start losing sight in your eye. What causes why does not pressure rise always in eye. However, specialist believes at least one of these elements may play a role:
Glaucoma is actually a group of diseases. The most common type is hereditary.
Open-Angle Glaucoma - This is the most common type. In open-angle glaucoma, watery liquid depletes too gradually and pressure inside the eye builds up. It usually results from aging of the watery liquid depletes, which doesn't response as well over time. However, younger can also suffer this type of glaucoma.
Normal Tension Glaucoma - This is a type of open-angle glaucoma not identified with high pressure. People with normal tension glaucoma might be unusually sensitive to normal levels of pressure. Decreased blood supply to the optic nerve may also perform a job in normal tension glaucoma.
Acute (Angle Closure) Glaucoma - Those of Asian and Native American people are at higher hazard for this type of glaucoma It happens when the drainage system of the eye ends up blocked. It causes a sudden increase in pressure, requiring quick, emergency medical care. The signs are generally genuine and may include blurred vision, serious migraines, eye pain, nausea, vomiting or seeing rainbow-like coronas around lights. Occasionally, the condition might be without side effects; like open-angle.
